Job Description I. Position Summary

The Quality Continuous Improvement (CI) Partner, Greater Asia (GA), is an advanced individual contributor responsible for the hands-on delivery of Quality training, capability building, and coaching in support of a strong quality culture and advancement of Continuous Improvement and Quality Excellence across the global Quality organization. Reporting to the Associate Director, BD Excellence Quality and GPO NC, RCA & PD, this role translates enterprise training direction into high-quality execution by delivering instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning solutions; coaching associates, leaders, and subject matter experts; and verifying that learning is effectively applied in the work environment. This role operates in a global, highly regulated life sciences environment and is expected to bring deep expertise in Quality systems, inspection readiness, and compliant documentation practices. The CI Partner serves as a recognized subject matter expert in Investigations, Problem Solving, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and structured improvement processes and is accountable for reinforcing quality behaviors, strengthening capability, supporting effectiveness plans, and continuous improvement in training execution and learner performance. The CI Partner works closely with site Quality leaders, process owners, subject matter experts, Central Quality partners, Learning & Development, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure training is delivered consistently and effectively across the organization. The role influences without direct authority by building credibility through expertise, facilitation skill, coaching, and reliable execution in support of compliance, inspection readiness, and capability building.

II. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver instructor-led, virtual, and blended quality training aligned with enterprise strategy, ensuring content is accurate, compliant, engaging, and fit for purpose.
  • Facilitate learning experiences that build technical capability, strengthen application of Quality requirements, and reinforce a strong quality culture across diverse learner groups.
  • Coach associates, leaders, and SMEs to improve understanding, execution, and consistent application of Quality processes, standards, and expectations.
  • Serve as a trusted partner in onboarding, upskilling, remediation, and broader capability-building efforts related to regulated Quality processes.
  • Develop, execute, and evaluate training effectiveness strategies to ensure learning transfer into improved performance, compliant behaviours, and sustained outcomes.
  • Provide expert training and coaching on investigation processes, including root-cause analysis, problem solving, documentation quality, risk-based decision-making, and effective closure of deviations and nonconformances.
  • Reinforce consistent application of investigation standards, escalation expectations, documentation requirements, and regulatory inspection readiness.
  • Partner with process owners, site Quality teams, Central Quality, and Learning & Development to ensure training solutions are aligned, scalable, and responsive to business and regulatory needs.
  • Maintain robust training governance practices, including accurate documentation, training records, and readiness for audits and inspections.
  • Identify training gaps, performance risks, and capability needs using data, stakeholder input, and observation; continuously improve training content, delivery, and reinforcement mechanisms.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of training materials, facilitator guides, job aids, and capability-building resources.
  • Support implementation of CAPAs, effectiveness checks, and follow-up actions where training is required to address quality issues or compliance gaps.
  • Facilitate Kaizen and structured problem-solving activities to drive measurable and sustainable improvement.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and engagement by encouraging feedback, empowering associates, and modelling strong quality and integrity standards.
III. Education

University bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Sciences, Engineering or a related field is required. MBA or equivalent business experience preferred.

IV. Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Quality, Education, or related discipline. 5+ years of experience in a regulated life science, medical device, pharmaceutical, biologics, or similar environment, with familiarity with regulatory expectations (e.g. FDA, ICH). Demonstrated experience delivering Quality or technical training in regulated settings, including instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning. Preferred experience supporting audit and inspection preparation, response readiness, or remediation activities. Experience coaching associates, SMEs, and leaders to strengthen capability, learning application, and compliant behaviours in the workplace. Experience developing and supporting training effectiveness activities, including use of observations, feedback, metrics, and other verification methods. Strong facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences, including senior leadership, in both in-person and virtual settings. Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders within a matrix organisation to drive alignment and results. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, including management of training documentation and records in line with compliance expectations. Experience in problem solving, continuous improvement, and Kaizen, with demonstrated ability to drive measurable business impact.

V. Knowledge and Skills
