Job summary

HRNET Ventures Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Quality Inspector (QA/QC) to join our manufacturing team in Tampines.

You will perform product inspections, visual and functional checks, and report defects in line with quality standards. Training lasts 3 months on a Mon-Fri 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, followed by a fixed 4-day work week with rotating 12-hour day/night shifts. Generous allowances for shift, meals and transport are provided, and Sundays are off.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' experience in QA/QC or quality inspection.
• Technical or vocational qualification such as NITEC preferred.
• Able to work in a manufacturing environment and use basic computer tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform product inspections and quality checks.
• Conduct visual and functional inspections on components and finished products.
• Identify, record and report defects or non-conformities.
• Assist with failure analysis, investigation and reporting.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with quality procedures, work instructions and safety requirements.
• Maintain 5S standards and good housekeeping in the work area.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
• Perform other quality-related duties as assigned.

Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary: $2,300 - $3,000
• Additional Allowances (For Work Days Only)
• 12-hour Day Shift Allowance: $12 per shift
• 12-hour Night Shift Allowance: $24 per shift
• Meal & Transport Allowance: $16 per workday

• Stable 4-Day Work Week after training

Working Hours

• Training Period (First 3 Months)
• Monday - Friday

• Weekly rotating 12-hour shifts:
• Day Shift: 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM

• Team A: Monday - Thursday
• Team B: Friday, Saturday, Monday & Tuesday

Key Responsibilities

• Perform product inspections and quality checks in accordance with established quality standards.
• Conduct visual and functional inspections on components and finished products.

Requirements

• Technical, vocational, NITEC or equivalent qualification preferred.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in quality inspection, QA/QC, manufacturing or a production environment.
• Able to perform duties in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Able to use inspection tools such as torque screwdrivers and multimeters.
• Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Able to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Good attention to detail with effective organisational and multitasking skills.
• Comfortable working at heights where required and able to comply with workplace safety requirements.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, as it is the primary working language for safety, documentation and operational communication.
