Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking a Quality Automation Engineer in Singapore to strengthen software reliability through automated testing across web, mobile, and API layers. You will design risk-based test strategies, build robust automation frameworks, and drive quality across the SDLC in an Agile/DevOps setting.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, Analysts, and Engineers to define acceptance criteria and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, leading various testing activities and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Experience in software quality assurance, test automation, and risk-based testing methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Robot Framework, SikuliX, or EggPlant.
• Proficiency in automation scripting using Python, Java, JavaScript, or C-Sharp (C#).
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Bamboo.
• Strong understanding of Agile testing practices, including TDD, BDD, and exploratory testing.
• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid feedback and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Software Engineers to define acceptance criteria and prevent defects from reaching production.
• Lead functional, regression, exploratory, integration, and user acceptance testing activities to validate end-to-end solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for testing practices, automation frameworks, and quality engineering methodologies.

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience in software quality assurance, test automation, and risk-based testing methodologies.

• Experience with performance testing tools such as Apache JMeter, Gatling, k6, or Locust.
• Knowledge of application security testing using Open Worldwide Application Security Project Zed Attack Proxy (OWASP ZAP), Burp Suite, Static Application Security Testing (SAST), or Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST).
• Experience with containerized testing environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, TestRail, or Micro Focus Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
• Professional certifications such as Certified Software Testing Professional (CSTP) or Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA)
