Qualifications

  • Prepare quality inspection reports and raise Quality Notifications.

Job description

Job Responsibilities
  • Support daily quality inspection activities.
  • Perform regular receiving and timely inspection of finished parts.
  • Approve incoming materials by verifying specifications.
  • Conduct visual and measurement tests; reject and return unacceptable materials.
  • Return products for rework if standards are not met.
  • Approve in-process production by confirming specifications.
  • Prepare quality inspection reports.
  • Raise Quality Notifications (QN) for non-conformities.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist QA/QC Engineers in all activities.
  • Review mechanical construction drawings and documents for accuracy and compliance.
  • Attend pre-inspection meetings with subcontractors and stakeholders.
  • Monitor mechanical piping tanking testing work.
  • Report and document non-conformities and suggest corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate inspection and test records.
  • Assist in preparing quality control plans and procedures.
  • Participate in audits and contribute to process improvements.
  • Communicate effectively with site supervisors, project managers, and contractors.
  • Perform sampling of incoming raw materials and manage retain samples independently at an external warehouse.
  • Ensure all testing and inspection activities, documentation, and post-processes are accurate and controlled.
  • Ensure timely calibration of all relevant equipment before use.
  • Highlight daily quality defects and collaborate with the production team for troubleshooting and recovery, using SAP System, AutoCAD, MS Office.
  • Escalate abnormal product quality trends to the team lead for resolution.
  • Hold NDT Level 2 Welding Certification and CSWIP 3.1 Certification.

Experience: 7 years in mechanical and continuous improvement preferred.

Knowledge of inspection tools is required.
