1. Supervision and Quality Support
- Lead and support a team of QA/QC Inspectors
- Provide training and guidance to maintain consistent inspection standards
- Address and resolve quality issues encountered during installation
2. Quality Planning and Implementation
- Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC plans and inspection procedures
- Create comprehensive inspection checklists
- Ensure QA/QC activities are aligned with project drawings, client specifications, and relevant standards
- Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications
3. Quality Audits and Inspections
- Conduct regular on-site quality audits and inspections of curtain wall components and installations
- Identify non-conformities and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly
4. Communication and Reporting
- Participate in site and coordination meetings, reporting inspection results and quality concerns
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders on quality-related matters
- Prepare and maintain accurate QA/QC records, reports, and documentation
5. Additional Responsibilities
- Ensure safety standards are integrated into quality control activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve non-conformance issues
- Mentor and train QA/QC staff and junior team members
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC supervision, preferably in curtain wall or façade installation
- Familiarity with curtain wall systems, materials, and installation procedures
- Strong understanding of quality standards, inspection procedures, and project specifications
- Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Relevant QA/QC certifications are an advantage
