Job summary

Qualifications

Job description

BHF PTE LTD is one of the largest bakery manufacturer in Singapore which owns brands such as Baker's Heaven, Hayley & Goomedo available in major retail supermarkets. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Quality Assurance Officer to lead and oversees the entire process to meet and comply to all certification standards of MUIS and FSSC22000 especially.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Oversee the entire quality assurance processes

  • Conduct regular internal audits for the organization, manage external inspections and liaise with regulatory agencies for annual audits

  • Ensure the work environment is in compliance and meet the certification standards and requirements of SFA, MUIS and FSSC 22000.

  • Manage product quality incidents, customer complaints, and non-conformances, and implement corrective and preventive actions

  • Ad-hoc duties with production and operations on a daily basis, e.g. maintenance and pest control

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and assist with new R&D product projects

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology or equivalent.

  • At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the Food Manufacturing/Baking is required for this position.

  • Experience in Bakery, Food R&D, Frozen Dough and Pastries will be preferred.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to communicate in English. Mandarin is also preferred in order to liaise with & Mandarin speaking associates from Export Markets.

  • Prior experience with BRC and/or FSSC Certification process will be preferred.

  • Eager to stay updated with the latest Food Science & Technology knowledge and market trends

  • Candidate should be passionate and innovative, and have a positive working attitude
