To inspect products according to the inspection plan and ensure products meet customer specifications.
- Perform CMM inspection of in-house parts (repeat and First Article Inspection (FAI) parts) to ensure compliance with the inspection plan and customer specifications
- Perform CMM Offline Programming to prepare the CMM program for FA inspection and save time
- Update and monitor the Statistical Process Control (SPC) chart to ensure a stable manufacturing process
- Perform in-process and final QC inspection of in-house parts (repeat and FAI parts) to ensure compliance with the inspection plan and customer specifications
- Record the inspection results in the inspection checklist and Inspection Method Sheet (IMS)
- Prepare the outgoing inspection report as per customer requirements
- Move the completed inspected parts to the next operation to ensure parts flow according to the routing step
- Raise Non-Conformance Report (NCR) for any non-conformance found to ensure rejection is recorded
- Schedule Material Review Board (MRB) meeting to make disposition for the non-conformance parts
- Monitor inspection schedule using the dashboard to ensure minimum backlog
- Support and participate in company improvement programs
Requirements
- Nitec/Higher Nitec in Mechatronics, Precision Engineering or other relevant qualification
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Good problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel functions
- Good communication skills
