SUMMARY
- This position is responsible for monitoring the effectiveness and continuous improvement of the company’s quality management system.
- The Quality Executive will conduct and lead internal and supplier quality audits.
- The Quality Executive will support surveillance audits conducted by certifying authorities / national aviation authorities.
- The Quality Executive will conduct inspection in compliance with aviation authority regulation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Including the following with other duties as assigned:
- Creates and maintains company’s quality manual and quality processes.
- Actively monitors the effectiveness of the quality management system and champion continuous improvements initiatives.
- Perform internal and supplier quality audits.
- Liaise with aviation authorities on all quality related topics.
- Oversee and maintain calibration of tools and approved vendor lists.
- Support non-compliance reporting and corrective action implementation.
- Perform duties in accordance with the company’s processes.
- Conduct inspection of articles for conformity to approved design and specification.
Qualifications
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be motivated and actively participate and perform his/her duties as assigned by the Quality Manager.
Requirements
- Qualified diploma in an engineering field or related discipline
- ISO 9001:2015 Certified Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor
- At least two years of auditing experience
- At least one year of recent quality control experience
- Good understanding of EASA/FAA/CAAS Part 21 requirements.
- Familiar with ISO 9000 Quality Management Standards and AS 9000 Aerospace Quality Management Standards.
- Highly motivated and able to work independently and effectively without supervision
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Domestic and international travel may be required.
