Job summary

A leading food safety management firm in Singapore is seeking a Quality Assurance Executive to oversee quality assurance, quality control, and food safety management. The ideal candidate will handle documentation, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Applicants should have a diploma in Food Science & Technology, be familiar with relevant standards, and proficiency in MS Office. Fresh graduates are welcome as training will be provided.

Qualifications

  • Familiar with GMP, ISO 22000, FSSC, and food safety management.
  • Capable of writing SOP and inspection reports.
  • Welcomes fresh graduates as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Document control including FSSC 22000, HACCP, and related documentation.
  • Conduct inspections and submit findings reports.
  • Perform QC experiments and ensure product safety.

Job description

The Quality Assurance Executive reports to the QA Manager and is responsible for the Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Food Safety Management in the organization and its subsidiaries.

Job Responsibilities
  • Document control, which includes FSSC 22000, HACCP, SFA and other safety related documentation.
  • Conduct in process and hygiene inspection and submit findings reports.
  • Perform QC experiments on raw materials as well as finished product to ensure the product meet the defined criteria before its release to the market.
  • Involve in all QA / product development activities to ensure compliance to established SOP and regulatory guidelines.
  • Support QA team to perform internal audit and external audit / inspection with auditors
  • Conduct internal training on regular basis.
  • Assist in conducting market research and studies with development of food product.
  • Assist to set up, monitor and review GMP programmes.
  • Perform assigned tasks and work to achieve company goals and department objectives.
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by line manager from time to time.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma in Food Science & Technology or equivalent.
  • Understand GMP, ISO 22000, FSSC, SFA regulations, food microbiology, food safety management.
  • Understand good manufacturing practice (GMP).
  • Experience in writing SOP, operating guides, training material and inspection reports
  • WSQ Basic food hygiene course
  • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Excel, MS Word
  • Bilingual (English & Mandarin)
  • Fresh graduate is welcome to apply as training will be provided.
