Job Responsibilities:
Assist in managing the performance and results of Quality Control and Assurance functions.
Assist in leading and mentoring the Quality team to ensure a productive and high-performance work environment.
Develop, implement, monitor and/or improve the Quality framework and Standard Operating Procedures.
Implement and uphold food safety and hygiene standards, risk assessments, quality specifications, documentation, and procedures to comply with SFA, FSSC 22000, HACCP, and other statutory requirements and company policies.
Drive projects and initiatives to ensure compliance with Food Quality, Safety & Hygiene standards and requirements.
Support the production team to troubleshoot and resolve any product quality issues.
Ensure that all food safety, quality-related, and non-compliance issues are investigated and that corrective measures are implemented and adhered to.
Lead and coordinate internal/external quality audits with relevant parties.
Prepare Quality and Performance reports for submission to Senior Management.
Conduct Food Safety & Hygiene and HACCP-related training for blue-collared factory employees.
Job Requirements:
Good understanding of SFA, FSSC / ISO 22K, GMP, HACCP, and other food-related requirements and regulations in Singapore.
Hands-on experience in a similar industry setting.
Good understanding of food safety, health, and environmental safety audit requirements.
Education, Experience & Training:
Diploma/Degree in Food Science/Technology or equivalent.
At least 3 years of experience in the Food Manufacturing/Food Production industry.
Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Independent, proactive, and meticulous.
