Job summary

The National University of Singapore invites applications for a Research Associate in the Division of Family Medicine, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. The role supports HEXI-SG with qualitative research, data collection, analysis and dissemination, in a collaborative, international research setting in Singapore.

The successful candidate will contribute across all stages of the HEXI-SG workflow, engage with patients and the public as research partners, and help establish SOPs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field (public health, social sciences, psychology, sociology, nursing, health sciences, or related).
• Demonstrated experience in qualitative research, including data collection (interviewing) and analysis.
• Proficiency in conducting research interviews in English; ability to interview in additional Singapore languages is a strong asset.
• Ability to work with culturally diverse populations; ethical research practices.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to management of research activities including grant/IRB-DSRB applications, budgeting, planning and monitoring timelines; support coordination with stakeholders.
• Conduct literature reviews and synthesize literature.
• Support design, data collection, analysis and interpretation of qualitative interviews.
• Recruit advisory board/panel members and train patient research partners.
• Coordinate meetings and prepare materials and documentation of proceedings.
• Lead protocol, manuscript and report writing and submission.
• Present work for feedback at workshops/conferences locally and internationally.
• Maintain thorough documentation in research repository for continuity and compliance.
