QS (Plumbing & Sanitary)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced QS (Plumbing & Sanitary) to join our team at Teck Hien Engineering Pte Ltd. This full-time role is based in the North Region and will be responsible for managing all aspects of plumbing and sanitary works for our diverse range of projects.

What you'll be doing

1. Preparing detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities for plumbing and sanitary works
2. Reviewing and analyzing tender documents, drawings and specifications
3. Negotiating subcontractor prices and managing procurement processes
4. Monitoring and controlling costs throughout the project lifecycle
5. Preparing progress payment claims and financial reports
6. Collaborating with project managers, site teams and clients to ensure successful project delivery

What we're looking for

1. Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or a related field
2. Minimum 5 years' experience as a QS in the plumbing and sanitary industry
3. Strong understanding of plumbing and sanitary systems, materials and installation methods
4. Proficient in using computerized quantity surveying and cost management software
5. Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
