Job summary

A leading contractor firm in Singapore is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor. The ideal candidate will manage project budgets, oversee cost control, and handle post-contract administration. A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field and at least 7 years of experience in tendering and estimating are required. Knowledge of SIA and FIDIC contracts is advantageous. Salary is negotiable based on qualifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in tendering, estimating, and measurement of quantities on projects.
• Knowledge of Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA) Conditions of Contract.
• Passion in tendering.

Responsibilities

• Manage and report project budget and cost control.
• Responsible for post-contracts administration.
• Monitor financial aspects to ensure adherence to budget.
• Liaise with consultants and contractors on claims certification.
• Source viable materials for various stages of projects.
• Provide cost insights on orders and claims.

Looking for Senior QS. Must be good in tender and pre-contracts.

Job Description

• Involve in managing and reporting of project budget & cost control
• Responsible in Post-Contracts administration for both the Main Contract and Subcontracts
• Monitor all financial aspects of the projects to ensure projects run according to budget
• Liaise and establish rapport with consultants, quantity surveyors, architects, developers and contractors on certification of claims for payment
• Be familiar with various stages of projects so as to source for the most viable yet reasonable priced materials
• Able to share new perspectives on cost, orders and claims
• Well verse in Architectural and C&S costing.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building or Civil Engineering, Architectural.
• Minimum 7 years working experience in tendering, estimating and measurement of quantities on projects
• Candidates with knowledge in Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA) Conditions of Contract, REDAS, FIDIC, FIDIC Short Form of Contracts
• Passion in tendering. Salary no issue.
