A construction engineering firm located in Singapore is looking for a Civil & Structural Engineer to manage project responsibilities. The role includes preparing tender documents, liaising with clients, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Ideal candidates should hold a Bachelor’s or Diploma in Civil & Structural Engineering and be proficient in AutoCAD. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential for success in this position.
Familiar with general contracts and various tender documents.
Attend site showround with PM and/or Directors.
Prepare tender or costs estimates as per instruction.
Liaise with Client on Bills and Quantities and cost submissions.
Source for materials, suppliers and vendors to obtain and review quotes.
To evaluate and check on market unit rates periodically for material costs.
Coordinate with suppliers/sub-contractor regarding their products/ services and follow-up on bills and quantities.
Ensure contracts and procurement comply with safety and construction regulations.
Prepare structural shop drawings and As-built drawings using AutoCAD.
Prepare and oversee daily / weekly works progress and report to PM.
Responsible for Progress Claims, Variation Orders, and Final Accounts.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager to support project needs.
Bachelor / Diploma in Civil & Structural Engineering.
Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD
Excellent communication skills with proven ability to engage others
Organised, meticulous with positive work attitude
