QM Engineer (Up to $4000)

Job Title: QM Engineer (ID1611)

Location: Pioneer, transport pick up Singapore and JB Bukit Indah

Working Hours: Mon to Fri 8:30am – 17:30pm

Salary: $3000 - $4000

Job Description:

• Lead internal quality audits to assess the compliance of manufacturing processes with established quality standards and requirements.
• Facilitate process buyoff by collaborating with cross-functional teams to validate process changes or improvements before full-scale implementation.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement or follow up on corrective actions to enhance the efficiency and quality of manufacturing processes.
• Maintain documentation of audit findings, system checks, and process buyoff outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
• Provide support and preparation for external audits such as customer audits and ISO audits by ensuring relevant documentation and records are readily available and up to date.
• Perform data analysis based on customer feedback, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Exercise safety and disciplinary control within own section.
• Regularly update and maintain documentation including ISO documents, Control Plan, and Inspection Checklist to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards.
• Any other responsibilities as assigned by superior.

Requirement:

• Degree in Engineering, Science, Quality Management, or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in a QA role, Data Analyst, or similar function.
• Proficiency in statistical tools and software, such as Minitab, JMP, Tableau, Python, or similar for data analysis.
• Proficiency in statistical concepts and analysis.
• Experience working with ISO 9001 Quality Management System, including knowledge of its requirements and implementation best practices.
• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles and techniques for analyzing process variability.
• Familiarity with QA tools and methodology such as 8D (Eight Disciplines) Methodology, Mistake Proofing (POKA YOKE), Root Cause Analysis, and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
• Knowledge in hard disk media processes.
• Relevant qualifications but no experience are also encouraged to apply.
