Job Responsibilities:
To update and maintain QHSE databases & vessel statistics.
To correspond with the vessels on routine QHSE and security matters and obtain various statistical data (damage / injury / near miss / STOP cards etc.).
To maintain Ship Security Plans, CSR and ISSC certificates, coordinate and record of Ship Security Alert tests.
To assist CSO in all activities involving vessel hardening and security guards, seeking insurance clearances as directed.
GT and Naval escorts planners to send out to vessels.
Communicate with relevant security organizations and owners/charterers as directed by CSO’s, complete security questionnaires and maintain security records / database.
To update vetting status, Q88, HVPQ and oil major questionnaire databases.
To maintain records/filing and statistics for Vetting Inspections & Off Hire.
To arrange and make remittance arrangements for Vetting Inspections as required.
Filing of Operations correspondence to ships.
To initiate unannounced MEDSCREEN Drug and Alcohol Tests and Office initiated Drug and Alcohol tests as required.
To assist in Agency and D/A settlement, coordinate with Finance Department.
Other administrative support as and when directed by the Marine/QHSE Manager or Director.
Job Requirements:
Diploma in Maritime studies or relevant qualification.
Good team player with good work attitude & willing to learn.
Good organization and coordination skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Prior exposure in the areas of Ship operations / QHSE will be an advantage.
