Job summary

A leading ship management company in Singapore is seeking a qualified Chief Engineer with at least one year of command experience. Responsibilities include assisting in QA & Training for the QHSE Department, conducting audits, and handling incident investigations. Candidates must hold a Master’s F.G. or Chief Engineer (Class 1) certificate and have completed relevant courses. Please indicate your salary expectations and availability.

Qualifications

• Master’s F.G. or Chief Engineer (Class 1) Certificate of Competency.
• Minimum 1 year command experience or as Chief Engineer on board vessels.
• Completed an Internal Auditor’s course.
• Completed a course on Accident Investigation and gained practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in QA & Training Department for the QHSE Department.
• Coordinate with FD & Superintendents on all matters.
• Assist in incident reports and major incident investigation.
• Carry out internal and external audits for the fleet.
• Assist in matters of safety and environment.
• Assist in Management Review and Evaluation of the Quality System.
• Carry out additional tasks assigned by FD.
