Job description

ROLE PURPOSE

Primary support for the QHSE/OPS team, ensuring timely dissemination of QHSE/OPS documents and maintenance of UniSea & SharePoint. Responsible for QHSE/OPS data collection.

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Oversight of the Monthly QHSE Statistic & Data compilation
  • Distribute in a timely manner TIMS requirements - track & follow up on Bulletins
  • Implementation of UniSea/TIMS onboard all APAC vessels
  • Support, lead & encourage the Company for continuously improving TDW’s TIMS.
  • Super user of UniSea & TIMS; carry out training (when needed)
  • Prepare and submit client statistic/manhours
  • Participate in the review of OSV industry audit processes including OVMSA
  • Ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of TDW’s TIMS & associated supporting documents applicable to the ISM & ISO codes.
  • Prepare Management Review for all Singapore vessels & branch offices
  • Provide HSE support to geo-markets (Singapore flagged vessels) & vessel Masters.
  • Provide HSE technical support to Commercial department for the submission of tenders.
  • Review findings, workflow and provide analysis
  • Prepare Management Review for all Singapore vessels & branch offices
  • Collate data for office safety meeting

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS / LICENSES

Education:

Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in a relevant field such as Nautical Studies, Maritime Operations, Marine Engineering, etc.

Technical Skills:

  • Basic understanding of maritime regulations and QHSE best practices.
  • Willingness to learn and apply knowledge of TIMS (Tidewater Integrated Management System) principles.
  • Interest in maritime safety documentation, including TIMS, circulars, and safety flashes.
  • Ability to learn and use relevant software applications for data entry and document management (e.g., UniSea, SharePoint).

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a willingness to learn from experienced colleagues.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy to ensure proper data entry and document handling.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to a safety-focused environment.
  • Basic computer literacy and a willingness to learn new software.
