Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is looking for a laboratory technician with a diploma in Food Science or a related field. You will be responsible for setting up QC laboratory equipment and preparing reagents for testing. Job Description

• Setting up the QC laboratory equipment such as weighing balances by cross-checking with standard weights, calibration of pH meter and titration tools, etc.
• Preparation of lab reagents, buffer solutions, apparatus, tools and agar plates for microbial testing.
• Management of retention samples, production samples and in-coming raw materials for QC testing.
• Other Ad hoc duties assigned

Job Requirement

• Diploma in Food Science, Chemical Process Technology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or related relevant working experience.
• At least 1 year of working experience in a laboratory.
• Experience using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometer would be ideal.
