QC Technician (Mid Day Shift 1pm to 10pm Mon to Fri)

This position is part of the Quality Control Team located in Singapore and will be on-site (Mid shift: 1pm to 10pm / Overnight shift: 10pm to 7am). At IDT, we are one global team. We celebrate our differences, engage in healthy debate, and are inclusive. Together, we accomplish great things.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Perform quality control tasks on time to support 2 Value Streams. This can include analytical testing, physical testing, equipment upkeep, documentation and problem solving.
• Have a basic understanding of Mass Spectrometry, Capillary Electrophoresis and High-Performance Liquid Chromatography.
• Have a basic understanding of UV/VIS spectroscopy, titration, pH and conductivity.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Fresh Diploma in a Science related field or Nitec/Higher Nitec with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Basic knowledge in manufacturing practices.
• Previous laboratory and chemical handling experience.
• Proficient computer skills which include knowledge of the internet, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
