Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum NiTEC | Certificate (or equivalent) or ASNT | PCN in an NDT discipline.
• Existing working knowledge of piping components.
• Able to read and understand international dimensional specifications.

Responsibilities

• Measure components against dimensions and tolerances on engineering drawings.
• Calibrate quality control instruments and equipment.
• Inspect finished items and incoming raw materials for compliance.
• Compile inspection reports.
• Assist staff with inspection tasks and other ad hoc duties.

Skills

Knowledge of piping components

Use of XRF PMI machines

Ability to use measuring equipment

Understanding international specifications

Education

NiTEC | Certificate (or equivalent) or ASNT | PCN in NDT

Requirements

• Minimum NiTEC | Certificate (or equivalent) or ASNT | PCN in an NDT discipline
• Existing working knowledge of piping components
• Use XRF PMI machines (training provided)
• Well versed in the use of micrometers, verrniers, thread gauges and other measuring equipment
• Able to read and understand international dimensional specifications
