Job description

Job Description:

• Ensures that the organization’s quality assurance system is maintained in accordance to GMP.

• Assists the Assistant General Manager and Operation Manager to conduct and initiate regular management reviews.

• Organizes and conducts annual management reviews and internal quality audits to verify effectiveness within the system.

• Overall responsible for the quality assurance activities, which includes approval and rejection of raw materials, packing materials, in-process bulk and finished products in CITC.

• Responsible to review and approve all QC related documents, SOPs and WIs such as test methods and sampling instructions.

• Assists the Assistant General Manager and section heads in any quality deviations from the management system and those established by the customers.

• Works closely with Operation Manager, Senior QA and QC Supervisor to establish QC procedures that meet customers’ product quality requirements.

• Ensures that the necessary testing is carried out and batch records are evaluated.

• Retains records for a designated period of time.

• Responsible for decision on the disposition of goods after rework/ redress.

• Works closely with the Operation Manager and QC Supervisor on rejected batches/ stocks to determine the cause of the defects and how to prevent further occurrences.

• Initiates and monitors follow-up corrective actions for non-conformances found within the organization including environmental and hygiene issues.

• Monitors follow-up corrective actions and preventive actions for complaints.

• Approves and monitors all contract analysis.

• Reviews the laboratory and testing facilities annually.

• Sets up schedule for maintenance and calibration of control equipment, equipment and laboratory apparatus in QC laboratory.

• Responsible for management of laboratory records, continuous training of QC personnel and ensuring that staff complies with SOPs.

• Ensures that current good manufacturing and safety practices are being exercised and implemented in the plant.

• Responsible for pest control activities in the company.

• Ensures all finished goods meet QC specifications before they are handed over to warehouse.

• Work closely with senior QA to liaise with external auditor regarding the external audit

• Work closely with senior QA to arrange and conduct internal audit for GMP

• Work closely with senior QA to follow up on the audit findings/ non-conformity in external audit and implement appropriate corrective actions.

• Other projects and assignments instructed or delegated by management and director

Job Requirements:

• Minimum qualification with Bachelor in Science will be advantage

• At least 5-6 years’ in relevant experience

• Preferably with knowledge on cGMP, ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001

• Independent thinker who acts and decides objectively and with integrity

• Willing to learn new things and hands on

• Computer literate
