Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant science or pharmacy field.
• Minimum 3 years of QC laboratory experience in pharma/biotech, with team leadership.
• Good working knowledge of GMP, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience supporting pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturing, product release, investigations, CAPA, and regulatory inspections is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily QC laboratory operations, ensuring testing is accurate and on schedule.
• Maintain GMP compliance and adherence to quality standards and procedures.
• Validate analytical methods and support method validation/transfer protocols.
• Lead, coach, and develop laboratory staff.
• Ensure training and qualification of personnel; maintain training matrix.
• Conduct routine walkthroughs to identify quality, safety, and efficiency improvements.
• Review test results against specs and support batch release activities.
• Maintain instrument calibration and preventive maintenance plans.
• Lead investigations into QC events, ensuring root cause analysis and CAPA actions.
