QC Lab Technician (2 months) - FRAGRANCE MNC/West/Office Hours #HAO

Salary: up to $3300

Duration: 2 months contract

Working Days & Hours: Mon-Fri Office Hours

Location: Boon Lay

Job Description:

1. Conduct application test of oil samples and make application samples for evaluation and submission to customers within a specific time frame.
2. In charge of monitoring projects and ensure projects run smoothly within the specified time frame.
3. Monitor the application test and ensure its stability.
4. Observe the durability of the samples and report any abnormalities.
5. Assist in formulating new bases, policies, and procedures.
6. Preparation of application samples for sensory testing by Perfumer, CFG’s.
7. Maintain and track stock levels of laboratory equipment and supplies such as glass bottles, raw materials, etc., for base formulation.
8. Operate, maintain, calibrate, and sterilize laboratory equipment and work areas.
9. Systematic filing and maintenance of formulation records.
10. Regularly check and ensure raw materials are stored at the correct temperature to ensure quality and safety.
11. Ensure that bio-hazardous materials are disposed of safely.
12. Perform standard laboratory tests according to prescribed procedures and record test results.
13. Maintain and ensure a clean and safe laboratory environment and workplace.

Job Requirements: Min Diploma in Applied Chemistry/Perfumery and Cosmetic Sciences/Chemical Engineering or similar.
