Quality Assurance
The QC Inspector is responsible for conducting quality control daily task activities in accordance to the approved regulations and requirements. He/She is aware of the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to be followed when performing QA activities and applies these standard procedures in daily work activities. He works closely with the Operations team on inspection of goods, release and quarantine of good. Preferably to assist in complaint management activities such as the investigation and customer complaints.
The QC inspector is meticulous with eye for details in managing documents, data digital and hardcopy filling systems for the organisation. He is able to perform good teamwork and interacts effectively with others to achieve quality workflow outcomes.
Job Responsibilities/Key Tasks(External)
Manage customer relationships
• Perform record and understand documentation of customer engagements.
• Escalate customer requests that deviate from signed contractual agreement.
• Escalate customer dissatisfaction of products, service standards.
Manage people, finance and organisational development
• Participate in on-the-job training and performance improvement opportunities.
Contribute to continuous improvement and technology advancement
• Collate quality audit data.
• Adopt lean practices for Quality activities.
• Initiate and assist in continuous improvement activities and performance improvement strategies for Quality procedures, activities and workflow management.
Manage risk and regulatory compliance
• Adhere to safety, health, security, environment and corporate governance standards and procedures.
• Comply with risk and regulatory requirements.
• Follow the practice to compliance strategies to achieve acceptable level of internal compliance and industry standards.
Manage quality framework and operations
• Adopt to quality plan framework, strategy and operating structures to support business objectives and priorities.
• Adopt the approved quality procedures, standards and specifications.
• Adopt the customized Quality Plan for individual customers.
Facilitate achievement of quality expectations and standards
• Support the collation of data for reports on KPI, productivity, returns, non-conformance products.
• Participate in collating information on quality records.
• Aware of internal and external audits results
Perform quality control activities
• Perform quality control activities according to production schedule.
• Conduct quality control activities (inbound, outbound, in-process QC) according to approved regulations and requirements (customer and internal)
• Report identification of non-conformities and root cause investigation
• Work with Operations team closely to ensure timely inspection, release and quarantine of goods.
Manage document control measures
• Aware of electronic and hardcopy documents filing location/directory.
• Adhere to documentation management system requirements.
• Recommend update and assist to distribute documents as required.
Manage Quality related training
• Participate in training.
• Provide feedback on training outcomes.
• ITE/O/A level, work as VAS operator/WH operator for min 1 year with good performance
