ST Engineering Satellite Systems Pte. Ltd. (SatSys) is a joint venture founded in 2010 by ST Engineering, DSO National Laboratories, and Nanyang Technological University. We design and develop satellite buses to integrate with various payloads, such as Electro-Optical (EO) cameras, Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), and more, to meet our customers’ mission objectives.

We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector to conduct thorough inspections and maintain the highest standards of quality control.

Responsibilities

1. Perform inspections of electronic components and raw materials at receiving, work-in-progress, and finished products to verify compliance with established quality procedures and standards.
2. Identify quality issues or non-conformances, report directly to the QA team, and collaborate to implement corrective actions.
3. Maintain records of inspection activities, report trends, and provide feedback to the QA team.
4. Follow detailed work instructions to inspect mechanical, electronic, electro-mechanical assemblies, and wire harnesses.
5. Verify that the inspected products meet requirements using gauges such as calipers and micrometers.
6. Ensure products are properly packaged and stored before shipment.
7. Assist with documentation of inspections and other non-routine activities as assigned.
8. Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements and quality control measures.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quality Control Inspector or similar role in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in operating inspection and testing equipment like micrometers and calipers.
• Relevant certifications such as ISO 9001 or Six Sigma are advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to use initiative.
• Singaporean Only.
