Job summary

HH STAINLESS PTE. LTD. is seeking a QA/QC Inspector to perform visual, hardness, and thickness tests, ferritic checks, PMI, and data recording. The role involves acting as an internal verifier for material quality against specifications and maintaining thorough documentation and storage of records.

The candidate should be able to work independently, communicate effectively with Purchasing on material quality issues, and support KPI achievement within the department.

Qualifications

• NITEC or equivalent qualification completed.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to handle tasks professionally and independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform Visual, Hardness, Thickness tests and Ferritic checks; record data and inspect materials.
• Act as independent verifier for incoming/outgoing materials meeting specs.
• Review documentation and manage storage/retrieval of records.
• Support department KPI achievement and quality objectives.
• Communicate raw material quality issues with Purchasing.
• Follow instructions from Project Lead or QA/QC & Sustainability Manager and take related tasks as assigned.

Job Descriptions and Responsibilities:

• To perform Visual Test, Hardness Test, Thickness Test, Ferritic check, PMI, data recording, Qty and inspection, and measurement.

• Act as an internal independent party for verification of quality and quantity of incoming and outgoing materials meeting specifications and requirements.

• To perform documentation review as well as storage and retrieval.

• Support in achieving the department Key Performance Indicator (KPI).

• Communicate with Purchasing on raw material quality issues.

• Follow instructions as assigned by Project Lead or QA/QC & Sustainability Manager and take up any other related tasks as assigned by the superior from time to time.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum NITEC or its equivalent and above.

• Required skills: Such as MS Office, interpersonal and communication.

• Demonstrate ability to handle work professionally, independently and efficiently.
