Job summary

ENVIRODYNAMICS SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a hands-on QA/QC professional to strengthen quality planning and assurance across equipment manufacturing.

You will develop and maintain quality control plans, collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain, and drive metrics such as defect rates and yield. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in engineering, 4–5 years in semiconductor/precision manufacturing, reads engineering drawings, and may have CQE/CQT

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Min 4–5 years of experience in front-end semiconductor, precision engineering, or advanced manufacturing industries.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Professional quality certification preferred (e.g. ASQ CQE or CQT).
• Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems, ISO standards, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Proficient in quality analysis tools and data visualization platforms such as Power BI.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Planning

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans, procedures, and standards for equipment manufacturing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Logistics, to identify, assess, and mitigate quality risks.
• Establish, monitor, and drive key quality metrics such as defect rates, yield, and production performance.

Quality Control / Assurance (QAQC)

• Conduct internal audits, process inspections, and compliance assessments to ensure adherence to quality management systems and international standards.
• Monitor manufacturing processes to identify improvement opportunities and enhance product quality.
• Analyse quality data to identify trends, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.

• Develop and implement inspection plans and quality control protocols for equipment, assemblies, and components.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and industry standards.
• Conduct training for Quality Control and Manufacturing personnel on quality procedures, inspection methods, and best practices.

Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement

• Investigate quality issues using structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, Fishbone Diagram, Pareto Analysis, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Drive corrective and preventive action (CAPA) initiatives to prevent recurrence of quality issues.
• Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
