Job summary

Job description

Responsibilities

• Carry out and uphold the company’s Concrete Quality Control Plan.
• Conduct daily site inspections and oversee all QC staff.
• Coordinate QC processes and documentation handled by technicians and the testing lab.
• Review and approve material/test submissions, ensure tests are completed, and prepare QC reports/certifications.
• Prepare or review checklists with the production team before each construction stage begins.
• Serve as the main contact for all QC-related matters for the contractor.
• Record any non-conforming work, ensure corrective actions are taken, and verify that issues are resolved.
• Communicate QC guidelines, updates, and expectations to the production team.
• Confirm that all required inspections and reports are properly done.
• Maintain a positive and cooperative working attitude with customers and colleagues.
• Support continuous improvement by suggesting ways to enhance QC procedures.
• Work closely with other departments to align QC processes with project goals.

Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related concrete technology qualification.
• At least 3 years’ experience in QC/QA for Ready-Mixed Concrete.
• Experience with an RMC manufacturer is an advantage.
