Responsibilities:
- Attribution and Market Knowledge: Identify products and assign the associated attributions across a range of industries for defined attributes. Have an established hierarchy expertise, and continually develop this, to ensure correct assignment of products within the hierarchy classification. Be responsible for the quality of the output, checking and reviewing all attributions entered into the system correctly and on time, to the defined quality standards. Actively update documentation where changes are made to ensure ongoing coding is correct and knowledge shared across the team.
- Reworks: Deliver data reworks on time and to a high level of accuracy. Actively plan time required for reworks and inform the manager to support effective capacity & resource management. Work in collaboration with the Commercial teams to assess client needs, build, and provide input into the specification, and perform the requested changes according to the requested timelines.
- System Expertise: Confidently use the capabilities within manual and mass coding systems to code and check outputs. Proactively use all elements of the systems effectively to drive quality standards and advise the manager on developments in systems which would benefit these standards. Embrace learning new systems and their capabilities to deliver role requirements.
- Operations and Client Relationships: Proactively seek to understand wider operations processes and the journey of data. Use this knowledge to improve work and support client relationships through professional communication via emails, calls, and face-to-face meetings. Provide support to colleagues across Operations and Commercial teams, responding to client queries and requests, and effectively communicating solutions.
- Process and Continuous Improvement: Use knowledge and experience to propose continual improvements in departmental processes to enhance coding quality. Assist the Team Manager with the implementation of these improvement plans.
- Team, People & Self Development: Actively participate in training to develop skills, support colleagues with queries, and contribute to personal performance reviews. Build strong internal relationships, offer help and support, and develop a reputation as a confident, independent, and trusted team member.

Requirements:
- Strong understanding of GB major retail brands, supermarkets, and promotional offers
- Strong attention to detail with a drive to achieve high-quality deliverables
- Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel
- Desired skill: SQL
- Experience in a previous Coding role is desirable
