Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biotechnology or relevant diplomas.
• GMP experience is required.
• Basic assay verification/validation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Conduct chemical and biochemical tests on various samples.

Job description

Job scope:

• Conduct chemical and biochemical tests on in-process, bulk, and non-routine samples.
• Able to perform analysis of water and cleaning samples as well as incoming raw material samples.
• Able to ensure tests assigned are performed in a timely manner in compliance to Standard Operating procedures.
• Able to write/revise SOPs, forms, training qualifications (TQ) and risk assessments (RA).
• Able to perform equipment calibration and maintenance
• Calibrate and maintain lab equipment.
• Review and approve QC records and logbooks.
• Monitor lab results for trends.
• Investigate and document lab issues (e.g. OOS, invalid tests, deviations).
• Write or update SOPs, forms, and risk assessments.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot lab issues.
• Train QC team members.
• Support method validation, transfer, and equipment qualification.
• Handle lab waste safely and maintain a safe work environment.
