Sanofi Aventis Singapore Pte. Ltd is offering a 15-month Career Conversion Programme (CCP) Trainee role in QC Microbiology (CCP) at our Singapore site.

The role focuses on routine microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, and supporting method transfer and validation within a GMP environment. • Diploma or Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Applied Science or related life sciences disciplines.

The Career Conversion Programme (CCP) (Train-and-Place) for Advanced Biopharmaceuticals Manufacturing Executives/Professionals is a talent development programme aimed at building the next generation of skilled manpower for Singapore’s Biopharmaceuticals manufacturing industry in anticipation of hiring demand. This programme is jointly supported by the Workforce Singapore (WSG) and Workforce Advancement Federation (WAF).

The training programme consists of 15 months of local attachment at Sanofi (Aventis-Pharma). Only candidates eligible for CCP programme may apply.

In this context, we are looking for one Quality Control Microbiology Trainee (Career Conversion Program) to support in routine microbiological testing activities.

Main Responsibilities:

The candidate will have a routine operational role consisting of the following:

• Perform QC microbiological testing (Bioburden, Endotoxin etc) for water, raw materials, and product samples
• Perform water sampling of clean utilities system and environmental monitoring of clean rooms
• Perform laboratory equipment maintenance, cleaning, calibration and troubleshooting as and when required
• Support general laboratory activities, including laboratory housekeeping and staging of chemicals, reagents, and consumables
• Support method transfer, validation, and verification activities to ensure robust analytical performance
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory efficiency, safety, compliance, and performance metrics (e.g., deviation/OOS rate, sample turnaround time)
• Ensure adherence to GMP, regulatory guidelines, and internal quality standards

About You

• Diploma or Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Applied Science or related life Sciences disciplines. Candidate with prior internships or industrial attachments in biopharmaceutical and biotechnology organizations would be advantageous. Self-starter and independent worker who can operate and perform in cross functional teams. Possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to problem solving and navigate through complexity and ambiguity. Able to work in fast paced and dynamic conditions with tight timelines.
