Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to conduct inspections and implement quality management systems for mechanical systems. The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of experience in QA/QC, holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, and possesses a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification. Strong knowledge of universal codes is essential for this role.

  • Knowledge of mechanical systems commissioning required.

Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare & conduct quality inspections, coordinate for non-destructive testing & implement QA/QC management system at site
  • Distribute relevant QA/QC documentation to site subcontractors
  • Compete site quality control instructions and action remedial responses
  • Coordinate with site / client on all quality issues coordinate and attend the QA/QC site weekly meetings
  • Consult QAQC Lead on all nonconformance reports and undertake remedial action
  • Participate in the quality internal and external audits

Requirement:

  • Min. 1 - 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in QA/QC and commissioning of mechanical systems
  • Min. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Possess Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
  • Well versed in Universal Standard codes such as ASME / API / AWS / NACE & DSEN
