Job Description
- Manage and oversee project quality to ensure compliance with codes, standards, regulations, equipment-specific specifications, and Quality Management System (QMS) and Project Quality Plan (PQP) requirements.
- Drive the overall company's Quality assurance and Quality control function and programmes.
- Ensure strict compliance with various contractual QA/QC requirement conforming to project requirement.
- Act as main liaison party with external certifying body on all ISO certification related to Quality.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure product quality meets design parameters and technical requirements while also adhering to BCA's Good Industry Practice guidelines.
- Supervise and manage all visual inspections and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) procedures, including those carried out by third-party subcontractors.
- Monitor corrective actions and process improvement, as well as ensuring proper defect rectification of subcontractor workers across all trades.
- Develop and execute effective QA/QC plans, preparing precise reports, and assisting in the preparation of QM submissions.
- Manage testing requirements as per contracts.
- Oversee corrective actions and monitor their implementation.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in QA/QC, Engineering, or Construction-related field recognized by PE Board Singapore.
- Minimum 5 years QA/QC experience in the local construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of quality management principles and experience with implementing QMS.
- Proficiency in construction management software and QA/QC documentation tools.
