Job summary

GLOCOM ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a diploma-trained Quality Assurance professional to ensure manufacturing quality across in-process, semi-finished, and final products.

You will support NPI evaluations, review supplier PPAP and FAI, and monitor supplier quality from pilot runs to mass production, working with inspectors to ensure incoming materials meet specs. Qualifications

• Diploma or ITE with relevant experience in QA for electronics/mechanical environments.
• Experience in EMS/OEM environments preferred.
• Familiar with PPAP/PFMEA/SPC/MSA quality tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the manufacturing quality assurance including in-process quality, semi-finished product quality, and outgoing product quality.
• To assist Engineer in New Product Introduction (NPI), evaluation and verification of new parts.
• To assist Engineer review supplier PPAP and first article inspection (FAI) and closely monitor supplier product quality from pilot run to mass production.
• Work closely with Inspector and supervise them to ensure incoming materials comply with established specifications.
• Align quality acceptance criteria and methodologies with suppliers.
• To assist Engineer with documentation and product inspection / validation / testing is properly implemented.
• Any other duties assigned by the Management.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical Engineering, or ITE with equivalent relevant experience
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within an EMS or OEM environment. Technical experience in machining, fabrication, system assembly, or semiconductor manufacturing will be an added advantage.
• Preferably trained and have good knowledge in Quality control tools (PPAP/PFMEA/SPC/MSA etc.).
• Familiar with Measurement instruments (CMM operation and program, Profile Projector, Smart Scope, Micrometer etc.) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
• Possess technical knowledge and experience good and effective communication skills with all levels within the organization and suppliers.
