Job summary

A leading technology firm in the measurement industry based in Singapore is seeking a qualified individual for a role focused on measurement and testing. Responsibilities include performing tests, training QA inspectors, and setting up measurement equipment. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience and knowledge of metrology, as well as hands-on experience with measurement tools such as OGP smartscope and Mitutoyo CMM.

Qualifications

• Min 2 years of experience in a similar capacity.
• Basic knowledge of understanding & interpreting Engineering drawing.
• Hands-on experience with measurement programming.

Responsibilities

• Perform measurement/testing and reporting of data.
• Train QA inspectors on measurement of newly transferred parts.
• Set up/program QA test & measurement equipment.
• Prepare document measurement SOP.
• Conduct basic calibration/verification of measuring equipment/gauges.

Job Responsibilities:

- Perform measurement/ testing and reporting of data.

- Train QA inspectors on the measurement of newly transferred parts.

- Able to set up/ program QA test & measurement equipment.

- Prepare document measurement SOP.

- Conduct basic calibration/verification of measuring equipment/gauges.

- Any other task as assigned by the supervisor from time to time.

Job Requirements:

- Min 2 years of experience in a similar capacity.

- Basic knowledge of understanding & interpreting Engineering drawing.

- Knowledge of metrology. Able to interpret GD&T as per ANSI Y14.5M.

- Hands-on experience with OGP smartscope & Mitutoyo CMM (or similar). Able to do programming on the measurement routine.
