Job summary

A quality assurance consultancy in Singapore is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to oversee QA activities and ensure compliance with standards like ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. The ideal candidate will have automotive quality management knowledge and relevant experience in petrochemicals. Responsibilities include managing internal audits, conducting management reviews, and developing QA initiatives. The position requires at least a Diploma in a related field.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of IATF 16949 Automotive Quality Management System Certification / GMP is preferred.
• Relevant working experience in petrochemical preferred.
• Minimum Diploma in related field.

Job description

The Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist is responsible for the development, implementation and promotion of QA related activities and compliance in the company. He/ She is also responsible to:

• Establish, implement, maintain & improve the management systems, namely: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, SS 651
• Manage all system certification, improvement and upgrade issues.
• Plan, manage and execute all internal and external management system audits to ensure timely closure of issues raised during the audits.
• Plan and conduct management reviews.
• Develop and oversee the implementation of all QA activities and support in HSE activities.
• Follow-up on issues to ensure timely closure of HSEQ-related reports, namely: customer complaint reports, corrective action reports, incident reports, etc.
• Prepare and submit Monthly reports.
• Participate as a team member in risk / HSE assessment team.
• Participate in external provider audits, where applicable.
• Co-ordination of Global QA initiatives and projects.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of IATF 16949 Automotive Quality Management System Certification / GMP is preferred.
• Relevant working experience in petrochemical preferred.
• Minimum Diploma in related field.
