Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and enforce Quality Control Plans (QCPs) tailored to each project, specifying inspection criteria, testing protocols, and acceptance standards.

• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation to verify compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

• Monitor and inspect all quality control activities throughout the piping project lifecycle—from material selection to installation—to ensure adherence to quality standards.

• Conduct and oversee visual, dimensional, and non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections, including radiographic, ultrasonic, dye penetrant, and magnetic particle testing.

• Perform hydrostatic and pneumatic testing on piping systems to confirm structural integrity and leak-proof performance.

• Verify material quality by inspecting received materials and reviewing certificates, ensuring proper storage and handling to avoid damage or contamination.

• Evaluate welding procedures, welder qualifications, and conduct thorough inspections of welded joints to maintain high weld quality and identify defects.

• Maintain detailed records and generate comprehensive quality reports, collaborate with project teams, lead investigations on non-conformities, and ensure corrective actions comply with applicable standards like ASME B31.3 and API 570.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering or relevant certification.

• Knowledge and experience in Welding Inspection, preferably with certifications like AWS or CSWIP.
