Job description

• Enforces food safety management policies and procedures in compliance with HACCP and SFA regulatory requirements.
• Conduct inspection as frequent as possible on manufacturing plant (Monthly), handling procedures, packing and other general areas to make sure it comply with food safety requirements.
• Conduct quality control analysis for all raw materials and products on a weekly basis. – Reference to SFA plant site audit
• Procure sample and send for analysis (e.g. microbial and nutrition) when needed.
• Liaise with suppliers in documentation compliance.
• Investigate any complaint issues in respect of quality and food safety.
• Maintaining of data base and documentations.
• Develop and conduct food safety training when needed.
• Check & ensure weight of manufactured of product within tolerance level. Eg. 420g +/- 20g, 3KG +/- 30g.
• Responsible for quality assurance (eg: Gluten-free testing, Non-GMO certification, SFA checklist & conformance, SFA certification for Export, Export requirement, product testing &moisture/PH testing)
• Monitoring cleaning schedules of vehicles.
• Handle Halal documentations
• Assist in any ad-hoc projects and duties as assigned.
