A leading global electronics company in Singapore is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to ensure product quality through inspections and audits. The role involves handling customer complaints, analyzing performance trends, collaborating with suppliers, and driving quality improvements. Candidates should hold a diploma in Electronic Engineering and possess strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies. This job offers a hybrid work arrangement and various employee benefits.
We are looking for a QA/QC Engineer responsible for ensuring product quality through inspection, testing, and process audits to meet Panasonic’s quality standards. The role involves handling customer complaints, analyzing quality performance, collaborating with suppliers, maintaining quality systems, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Deal with customer quality complaints and feedback; apply QC tools for preventive actions and activity standardization.
Analyze department quality performance trends and gaps against business KPIs to develop strategic quality improvement plans.
Collaborate with suppliers to resolve material quality issues; conduct supplier audits as required.
Improve process conformance between documented standards and actual operations; maintain the quality management system.
Conduct quality-related meetings, disseminate meeting minutes, and follow up on action plans.
Promote change control processes, evaluate and approve initial samples, point of change samples, and special approval samples.
Prepare and update weekly and monthly quality reports.
Manage Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility (GR&R) procedures.
Drive workplace 5S activities to ensure a clean and organized environment.
Perform data analysis on quality abnormalities and failure modes; work with teams to develop countermeasures.
Diploma in Electronic Engineering
Open to fresh graduates with relevant knowledge and enthusiasm
Understanding and practical application of ISO 9001, SPC, FMEA, FTA, 8D methodology, and technical drawings.
Proficient in operating measurement microscopes and working in clean room environments with appropriate PPE.
Ability to work overtime during urgent situations.
Capable of conducting meetings and delivering presentations.
Strong communication skills, open-mindedness, and adaptability.
Open-minded and adaptable to significant job changes.
Effective communicator and team player.
Able to handle stress and work under pressure.
