QA/QC Engineer

Responsibilities

The QA/QC Engineer is expected to visit the fabrication yard minimum twice a week and minimum 2 hours per visit during casting duration. The Inspector shall be stationed at the fabrication yard (one or more fabrication yards) for the duration of the fabrication of the precast structural elements.

The main responsibilities of the QA/QC Engineer are to inspect and keep Quality Control (QC) records of all the stages of the precast fabrication, to test and examine any materials, goods and workmanship to be used by the precast manufacturer in connection with the precast production. They shall produce a monthly report incorporating all records of fabrications and test results and submit to the Project Team.

Requirements

The QA/QC Engineer shall possess the necessary educational qualifications recognised by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore with minimum five (5) years of experience in concrete technology, inspection, quality control and quality assurance procedures related to the production of high quality precast concrete products.

Shall also be accredited by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS (Resident Engineer Level).
