QA/QC Assistant (Food Safety)

We are looking for passionate QA/QC Assistant (Food Safety) to be part of the team. You will be responsible for all hygiene and food safety standards of assigned locations.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct daily on-site inspection, personal hygiene checks, products checking and sample retention.
2. Follow and assist in lab test sampling schedule.
3. Assist in ISO 22000:2018 manual updates and implement to operation.
4. Assist in checking records, documents, and files.
5. Attend to external auditors and internal auditors; assist for internal audit (central kitchen, retail outlets and supplier audit).
6. Attend to pest programmes, follow up and rectification.
7. Follow and enhance developed SOPs.
8. Assist in developing food safety training materials and assessment plan.
9. Detect any non-conformance and rectify immediately.
10. Any other ad-hoc projects assigned by superior.

Requirements

1. NITEC, Diploma or equivalent, in Culinary/Science or any related standard.
2. Relevant experience in food manufacturing or central kitchen is preferred but not a must.
3. Knowledge in SFA regulation, ISO22000, Halal/any related standard is an advantage.
4. Able to work within timeline and demonstrate positive working attitude.
5. Good communication skills.
6. Team player, proactive and meticulous in work.
7. Willing to work in the West.

The level of appointment offered will commensurate with candidate's experience.
