Job summary

A leading company in the Food & Beverage industry is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to manage and enhance its Food Quality and Safety Management System. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory standards, conduct inspections, and assist in audits. Applicants should hold a Diploma in Food Science and have at least 3 years of relevant experience, along with strong analytical skills and fluency in both English and Mandarin.

Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and implement the Food Quality and Safety Management System.
• Enforce Food Quality and Safety Policies, MSC COC Policies, and Procedures within the company premises.
• Conduct routine validation inspections daily/weekly to ensure compliance with CCP, RPR, OPRP, GMP, GHP, MSC, and identify areas for improvement.
• Investigate and report any nonconformance observed in the workplace and customer returns.
• Assist in preparing the organization for customer audits, regulatory inspections, and external accreditation reviews.
• Participate in internal audits and the Design & Development program.
• Perform monthly laboratory tests, data analysis, and QA reports.
• Liaise with authorities and third parties; manage license renewals.
• Record, file all work documents, ad-hoc projects, and report writing.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superiors.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Food Science, Quality, or related engineering certificates.
• At least 3 years of QA experience in the Food & Beverage or Food Packaging Manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 management systems.
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification is mandatory.
• ISO or FSIS 22000 / HACCP Internal Auditor certification is an advantage.
• Strong brainstorming and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin (spoken and written).
• Ability to make decisions and report effectively.
• Fresh graduates are welcome.
