A leading company is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to oversee compliance with quality standards and manage a dedicated team. The role involves developing policies, conducting audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring products exceed customer expectations while maintaining regulatory standards.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant quality certification standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 13485.
Review, update and establish Master Quality Manual (MQM), procedures and work instructions to ensure effectiveness and efficiency to meet changing quality and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate and interact with all functional teams and subsidiaries to ensure quality standards of the Group are maintained through internal audits
Manage and lead the quality control team, ensuring that all quality control activities are conducted in a timely and efficient manner.
Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Conduct regular audits of our quality management system, identifying and addressing any areas of non-conformance.
Lead audits of certification bodies, external customers, suppliers and sub-contractors
Respond to all audit findings within timeline till closure with all functional departments
Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our quality management system and ensure that our products consistently meet or exceed customer expectations.
Liaise with customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies on quality-related matters.
Provide leadership and guidance to all departments to drive quality improvements and ensure that quality is embedded throughout the Group
Develop and deliver training programs on quality management system and quality standards for employees.
Ensure that all quality-related documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and readily accessible to relevant stakeholders.
Manage and monitor quality performance of suppliers and sub-contractors
Plan and work with external laboratory or Quality Assurance (QA) department on sterilisation services and others services as and when required
Review and approve external laboratory service report
Lead product registration including site registration, process registration and renewal registration
Perform quality assurance activities as per operational requirements and other QA related duties as may be assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
At least 10 years of experience in quality assurance and control in a manufacturing company.
Strong knowledge of quality certification standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and ISO 13485
Experience in leading and managing a team of quality executives.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and develop effective solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Proven track record in driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience in implementing quality management systems and leading quality audits.
