QA Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers to ensure high-quality testing processes and deliverables.
• Develop, implement, and maintain test strategies, test plans, and test cases for manual and automated testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to define quality requirements.
• Design and execute functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Drive test automation efforts and improve automation coverage.
• Identify and document defects, track issues, and work closely with development teams for resolution.
• Ensure adherence to QA best practices, standards, and guidelines.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Monitor and improve testing efficiency and effectiveness through metrics and reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software testing and QA, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
• Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in CI/CD pipelines and integrating test automation.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience in testing mobile applications.
