Job summary

Helius Technologies in Singapore is seeking a QA Engineer / Test Analyst to support testing of banking digital applications. You will collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers and Technology teams to ensure functionality, reliability and quality through manual and automated testing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant software testing experience.
• Hands-on Selenium or Appium testing experience on banking applications.
• Experience testing web and/or mobile applications.
• Hands-on experience with JBehave.
• Working experience with JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience developing end-to-end test scenarios and cases from business requirements.
• Understanding of manual and automated testing, QA processes and the SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Analyse requirements and acceptance criteria to develop end-to-end test scenarios and test cases.
• Cover web and mobile testing across UI, functional, integration, regression, negative, error handling and security-baseline scenarios.
• Develop reusable test assets and maintain traceability between requirements, test coverage, execution results and defects.
• Develop and maintain Selenium or Appium automation scripts in accordance with framework standards.
• Execute manual and automated tests, investigate failures and validate fixes.
• Log and track defects in JIRA, and work with tech teams on root-cause analysis and resolution.
• Maintain accurate JIRA records, test evidence and documentation to support audits.

Role Overview

We are seeking a QA Engineer / Test Analyst to support the testing and delivery of banking digital applications. You will work with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers and Technology teams to ensure application functionality, reliability and quality through manual and automated testing.

Hands-on experience using Selenium or Appium to test banking applications is mandatory and non-negotiable.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse requirements and acceptance criteria to develop comprehensive end-to-end test scenarios, test cases and JBehave scripts .
• Cover web and mobile testing across UI, functional, integration, regression, negative, error-handling and security-baseline scenarios .
• Develop reusable test assets and maintain traceability between requirements, test coverage, execution results and defects.
• Develop and maintain Selenium or Appium automation scripts in accordance with established framework and coding standards.
• Execute manual and automated tests, investigate failures and validate fixes.
• Log and track defects in JIRA, working with technology teams on root-cause analysis and timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate JIRA records, test evidence and documentation to support consistency, reuse and audit requirements.
• Maintain regression packs by incorporating new functionality and removing obsolete test cases.

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant software testing experience .
• Hands-on Selenium or Appium testing experience on banking applications. Candidates must be able to explain their personal involvement and identify the relevant banking project.
• Experience testing web and/or mobile applications.
• Hands-on experience with JBehave .
• Working experience with JIRA and Confluence .
• Experience developing end-to-end test scenarios and cases from business requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Understanding of manual and automated testing , QA processes and the software development lifecycle.

Added Advantage

• Knowledge of Java or VBScript .
• Experience supporting production verification, defect root-cause analysis and automated regression testing.
• Experience maintaining reusable automation components and test documentation.
