Job summary

DIGIWORLD TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. is seeking a QA Engineer to ensure software quality through manual and automation testing, API validation, and web testing. The role focuses on Selenium automation using Java, REST/SOAP API validation, and Agile quality practices throughout the SDLC.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify defects and support reliable software releases in an Agile environment. A strong background in QA across multiple testing types is essential.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Hands-on Selenium UI automation with Java.
• Experience across manual, functional, regression, UI and integration testing.
• API testing of RESTful services and SOAP interfaces using Postman and SoapUI.
• Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Bug Life Cycle and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Analyse requirements and prepare test cases across functional, regression, UI, integration, and API testing.
• Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases and test scenarios.
• UI automation testing with Selenium frameworks using Java.
• Conduct API testing of RESTful and SOAP interfaces using Postman and SoapUI.
• Execute functional, regression, sanity, integration and UI testing to identify defects.
• Record, track, report defects through the testing lifecycle.
• Prepare test execution reports and summaries to communicate testing progress and outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in test plan reviews.
