Job summary

A leading company in the Marine Industry is looking for a QA Engineer (Electrical) to uphold quality standards. Job description

QA Engineer (Electrical)

  • Salary range: $3,000 - $3,800
  • Working hours: Mon-Fri - 8.15am to 5.45pm
  • Inspect outgoing parts & incoming parts according to specification of inspection
  • Maintain quality record, file quality data and highlight problems to Managers for action.
  • Ensure non-conforming products are not mixed with good products prior to disposition.
  • Authorise the rejection of parts and release of conforming parts to be sent to the store
  • Perform factory routine test and check of switchboards completed in the workshop.
  • Testing and commission of switchboards on board vessels or on-site
  • Attend to warranty claims / quality complaints. Conduct tests on switchboards.
  • Assist the Manager in quality responsibilities and achieving quality objectives.
  • Maintain housekeeping and observe safety rules during performance of every task.
  • Ensure the use of calibrated instrument for inspection.
  • Prevent occurrence of Product Non-Conformity & recommend solutions for problem detected.
  • Verify the implementation of solutions.
  • Control and delivery of Non-Conforming products until the deficiency has been corrected.
  • ITE/Diploma in Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering
  • At least 2 years of QA experience in Marine Industry
