JOB PURPOSE:
To liaise with customer claims, solve quality problems, and perform FAE/FAI & approve new products/parts evaluation and judgment related to Avionics products.
NATURE & SCOPE:
- Perform first article evaluation (FAE/FAI) on newly manufactured parts/products.
- Conduct shipping judgment meetings for first-time manufactured and shipped-out products.
- Handle quality claims from customers through corrective action requests (CAR/NCR): evaluate, verify, and disseminate information to respective departments.
- Manage claims to ensure root causes are analyzed and effective corrective/preventive actions are implemented. Ensure prompt follow-up and responses.
- Revise department work standards according to job-flow changes.
- Conduct process audits as scheduled.
- Assist production lines in resolving quality issues; discuss and provide feedback on improvements.
- Provide engineering support and advice to team members.
- Coordinate monthly quality meetings.
- Supervise subordinates.
- The above scope includes but is not limited to activities related to avionics products.
- Perform other duties as requested.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Judge and inspect that first-time manufactured products/parts meet standards and certify them as fit for shipment.
- Evaluate and communicate customer claims, especially dead on arrival (DOA), to relevant departments promptly.
- Provide support to production lines and related departments on quality issues.
