Job summary

A manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking a Quality Engineer to manage and improve its ISO9001 & ISO14001 Quality Management Systems. You will be responsible for documentation, conducting internal audits, and addressing quality issues. A minimum degree in Engineering or Quality and at least 1 year of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree in Engineering / Quality or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in Quality in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of ISO9001 & ISO14001 is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure documentation of the company’s quality management system.
• Maintain ISO9001 & ISO14001 Quality Management System.
• Conduct internal audits for QMS and EMS.

• Ensure documentation of the company’s quality management system is in place, including policies, objectives, plans and work procedures.
• Maintain and improve ISO9001 Quality Management System (QMS), ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS), policies, risk assessment and work procedures.
• Conduct internal audits for ISO9001 QMS and ISO 14001 EMS system.
• Lead a team of inspectors and to handle incoming, in-process and finished goods issues in a timely and orderly manner
• Resolve quality issues (8D, NCR and Customer Complaints)

Job Requirement

• Minimum Degree in Engineering / Quality or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in Quality in a manufacturing environment working in an ISO regulated environment
• Knowledge and experience in the management system, certified as an ISO9001 & ISO14001 internal auditor are an added advantage
